The researchers also tested the ability of each child of the male rats to produce offspring.
The findings revealed that the male offspring of female rats ' smokes ' are significantly less likely to have a sperm count with normal-shaped bulk, quick movements, and capable of binding the egg well. It is obtained when compared to older mice of the female rats without smoking.
"Our results suggest that male mice of mothers ' smoke ' has fewer sperm. In addition the ability of sperm to swim also worse and often failed to bind to the egg cell during in vitro fertilization research, "Prof. imbuh McLaughlin.
